Venezuelan gangs in the U.S. and Russia conducting naval exercises near Cuba and Venezuela

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Voters in India elected Narendra Modi for a consecutive third term as Prime Minister.  Modi’s party, the Bharatiya Janata Party failed to gather enough votes on their own to win.  The AP reports that the BJP needed the support of “regional allies” to remain in control. 

Modi’s government has come under scrutiny in the US after the Biden administration questioned connections between the shooting death of an Indian expatriate living in Canada and an Indian expat living in the United States.

Moreover, Modi’s Hindu First policies conflict with the Muslim diaspora spread throughout the country.

The US Consulate in Sydney, Australia was vandalized early Monday morning.  Video shows a masked person smashing windows and painting Pro-Palestinian graffiti on the building around 3:00 am. Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese said the protestors need to “turn the heat down,” as “this was not the Australian way.”

The Palestine Action Group claimed they have damaged and vandalized at least 20 different Barclay’s banks across England and Scotland.  The Pro Palestinian group requested that Barclays divest from Israel’s weapons trade.  Sky News reports that entry ways and windows at the bank’s were smashed.

Far Far away from their home ports, Russia moves warships into the Caribbean to conduct exercises in Cuba and Venezuela.  ABC News in the United States reports that President Biden’s military leaders plan to monitor the Russia’s movements while in the region.

The transnational criminal gang that originated in Venezuela, Tren de Aragua, is now suspected of conducting sex trafficking rings in the United States and may have ties to the 19 year-old who is in custody in New York for shooting two police officers last week.  CNN reports that court documents show that Bernardo Raul Casto-Mata has tattoos associated with Tren de Aragua. Even though Castro-Mata doesn’t have an arrest record, he is a suspect for several robberies in Queen’s.
