SANTA MONCA (March 21, 2025) The Beverly Hills Normans will travel to the West Side tonight to meet the Santa Monica Vikings for the first and only game the two teams will play during the regular Ocean League play.
Yesterday, the Normans defeated the Centennial Apaches in four sets. Earlier in the week, the Normies took a set off the Culver City Centaurs but ultimately lost the game in four sets.

Santa Monica has been on a recent winning streak. The Vikings come into tonight’s game as the favored team. Last night, they defeated Culver City – at Culver – in three sets. Jaffa, the setter – is doing a great job of moving the ball around the court and connecting with the Outside Hitters and the Middle Blockers. Badr, an Outside Hitter, is hitting hard and showing a surprising prowess and spatial awareness of the court.
SAMO Coach Barraza was a little concerned about last night’s game against Culver City. If the Vikings lost, their chances of advancing to the CIF play-off would have been in jeopardy. But, the Vikings played like a well-oiled rowing machine and enabled their Coach to walk away with a big smile.
“I was a little worried,” Coach Barraza said after the game. “But, the guys are playing well and I expect good things to continue happening on the court.”
Tonight, we can expect to hear great music during the time-outs and between games as the SAMO High Pep Band will play for the audience.
3rdstreet tv will live stream tonight’s game which beings at 3:30 pm PDT. Click on the link below to start the live stream.
