Despite threats to delay voting, Americans push on

SANTA MONICA – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that several polling locations across the United States have had bomb threats called in against them throughout the day.

The threats seem to be originating from a Russian email domain, the FBI said. The Bureau will continue to work with state and local law enforcement to protect the elections from ongoing threats.

Georgia has had multiple threats called in disrupting and delaying the process.

USA Today reported that in Washington, D.C., Capitol Police Officers arrested an individual smelling of gasoline, carrying a torch lighter and flare gun, the Capitol Police Department reported.

The FBI further advised people about a fake video telling Americans to stay away from polling locations due to “high terror threats”.   The fake videos seemingly originate from legitimate news organizations and often copied their logos and insignias.

CBS News confirmed that they didn’t originate the fake video.
